Christian Education

Adult Education/Bible Study
Study groups usually meet evenings. Groups explore scripture, prayer, God's call to worship and mission. These study groups of six to eight weeks are scheduled thoughout the year. Preparatory classes for baptism, confirmation, and renewal of confirmation vows are offered. Lenten studies are held on Wednesdays during Lent.

Youth Christian Education
Sunday school is held from 10:15 a.m. to about 11:15 a.m. Children then join their families to celebrate the Holy Eucharist. The curriculum is an ecumenical one supplemented by other materials.

Youth Ministry
Special youth education and activities are scheduled for Saint John's children and youth and with youth groups of other churches.

Nursery
A care giver is provided for our parish infants and toddlers so the parents can participate in the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Assistants and substitutes are periodically needed.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is held in the summer in conjunction with Grace Lutheran Church.
