Clergy & Staff The Reverend Dr. Ruth H. Strang is our Priest. She has been among us since November 1994. A graduate of the Seabury Western Theological Seminary, Ruth is in her second career. She has served as Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pediatric Cardiology, University of Michigan Medical School. The Reverend Donald Dersnah is our Deacon. He was ordained a deacon in 1997 and was assigned to us here at St. John's in December 2001. Don is a graduate of the Whitaker School of Theology. In his secular career he is an administrator with the Michigan Department of Human Services. In addition to his ministry at St. John's, Don is involved with the Huron Valley Deanery Hospital Chaplaincy Program as chaplain coordinator, a sacramentalist and instructor. Ruth and Don are caring, compassionate listeners and counselors. They are available for pastoral care, counseling, and visitations. |
