Worship

Acolytes
Servers represent the people of God by serving and assisting during the Liturgy. They light the candles, carry the cross and candles in precession, and assist at the Altar.

Altar Guild
People care for the liturgical vessels, vestments, and linens and see that the Chancel and Altar are properly set up before services.

Choir
The adult choir provides music for Sunday and other special services. Rehearsal is Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Congregation
The People of God come together on Sunday mornings and at other times to worship God together. For those interested in a deeper understanding of what it means to be a member of a worshipping congregation, please feel free to contact us for more information or come regularly, and learn by doing.

Cursillo
The Cursillo Movement is one method of renewal in the Church. Its purpose is to help those in the Church understand their individual callings to be Christian leaders. This leadership may be exercised in work situations, in the family and social life, in leisure activities and within the Church.

Greeters
Laypersons greet service attendees, particularly newcomers, and help them feel welcomed. Open to all.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Laypersons are trained and licensed to administer communion, assist during Holy Eucharist, and take the consecrated sacrament to shut-ins.

Lay Readers
Read the lessons, psalms, and prayers during worship services.

Participants in mid-week services
People attend the Wednesday 1928 Prayer Book Morning Prayer service at 11:30 a.m. Holy Communion is celebrated on the second Wednesday. Services are followed by a fellowship lunch with a pot-luck on the second Wednesday.

Ushers
Men and women serve at the 10:30 a.m. service to greet parishioners and visitors, distribute bulletins, assist with seating, present the elements, and receive offerings.
